Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals in team and floor competitions and bronze medal for the balance beam. In 2012, she became the first American athlete to achieve the highest number of medals at the Olympics. The year she was in 2016, and the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans to take home back-to-back golds at team events. Silver medals were awarded in the floor-based individual and all-around events. She took a three-year break between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. Her gold medal winning American team also took home 2 World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age two, and her favorite event is Floor Exercise. Aly has joined her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. She plans to pursue a career as a designer. She hopes to pursue growing her range of leotards. Fierce the new novel she's working on, will be published at the end of this year.
